The baking and cooking seed was planted early in Kayce’s heart, as her Dad was a Corporate Chef. Kayce was baking as soon as she was allowed to turn the oven on herself. The process of mixing raw materials together and creating something that brought a smile to someone’s face brought joy to her heart. In 2007, while in College at The University of Findlay in Ohio, Kayce competed in a cookie-baking contest. Supplying taste testers and judges with her Nana’s recipe for “Company Cookies”, a soft spice cookie topped with icing, she took the winning trophy!

Many dozens of homemade cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and cake balls later the idea of a bakery came to life when someone requested to purchase them as a gift for a friend. Shortly thereafter, Kayce’s Kitchen, an entirely Gluten Free bakery was born!
